Guild
Electric was created in 1954 to provide electrical contracting services to the Canadian
construction industry. Today, we employ 500 highly skilled tradespeople and professionals,
and are one of the biggest and most successful in the business.
Under the stewardship of our founder and president, Andrew Lengyel, sons Gary
and Peter, and a hand picked management team, Guild remains true to its founding
principles of customer service and professional excellence. This gives us our unique
strength in the industry and allows us to get the job done quickly, efficiently and on
budget... while never compromising on the quality of workmanship and design.
Our Zero Defects Philosophy
Guild is committed to be the "best in the class". A core
group of project managers, professional engineers and field supervisors ensure that the
highest quality standards are always maintained. Management and field personnel work
together as a team to deliver cost-effective and timely service to each and every
client.
Our People
Guild's labour force is considered to be the most highly skilled in
the business. To ensure the highest training and quality standards in the industry, we
fully support the provincial collective agreement between the International Brotherhood of
Electrical Workers and the Electrical Contractors Association of Ontario. We are also
party to the collective agreement with the Laborers' International Union of North America.
Fast-Track Construction
Fast-track construction reduces costs and speeds up building
schedules. Guild has the expertise to ensure that nothing falls through the cracks when
projects are fast-tracked.
