Expertise

We’re Guild Electric

From office towers to specialized projects like hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, and casinos; from data centres and other communications-intensive buildings to basic tenant fitouts; from smart highways to traffic lights and pedestrian crossings – we do it all.

The Right People

Expertise isn’t measured in the abstract, it’s a quality that’s demonstrated every day by real people who consistently come through with superior work.

Our combination of technical know-how and practical experience delivers great results: reliable planning, confident attention to detail, and work completed as promised.

We know we can meet the demands of even the most complex projects, because we’ve proved it. Each project gets the team it needs. From estimating, to project management, to the crews in the field…we’re committed to providing excellent quality and service to our customers.

The longevity of our senior staff – both in the office and in the field - speaks to our exceptional track record. Our customers benefit directly from the decades of skill, experience, and inventiveness we apply to every challenge.

Guild is a COR® 2020 employer.

At Guild, safety always comes first. Every one of our employees benefits from our in-house Safety & Training programs, and together we hold ourselves accountable for proactively ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety.

The Right Skills

It’s a given that as a premier electrical contractor, we know our stuff. We bring sophisticated technical expertise to every situation, and we’re always looking ahead to find the most efficient approaches to the job.

Technical skill is essential, but so are other forms of expertise – like meticulous documentation, timely and clear communication, and effective logistics. If a problem arises, we meet it with positive, get-it-done solutions.

The Right Attitude

The Guild culture places a high premium on initiative and integrity. Many of our employees joined us when they were young and have progressed through multiple roles to hold senior positions. Valuing our employees for their skills but also as people has created a diverse workplace in which a wide range of approaches and ideas can flourish.

Stephen Lengyel, mentored by his father and grandfather, serves as Guild’s President and CEO. And so the Guild legacy – a unique balance of tradition and forward thinking – continues to evolve and thrive.

Guild is customer-focused, which means we’re always looking out for our customers’ interests. This approach is a first principle for us and goes all the way back to Andrew Lengyel’s founding of the business in 1954. It’s one of the main reasons behind our growth and success.

Pulling together.
